  • Located in beautiful Whitefish, the "Recreation Capital of Montana," we are 30 minutes from Glacier National Park, 20 minutes from Whitefish Mountain Resort on Big Mountain, and 40 minutes from Flathead Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. Grouse Mountain Lodge is adjacent to the 36-hole Whitefish Lake Golf Course, which is converted to the Glacier Nordic Center, offering 15 km of groomed cross-country ski trails during winter. We offer complimentary ski shuttle service to and from Whitefish Mountain Resort (20 minutes), and on-request shuttle service to and from downtown Whitefish (3 minutes) for dining, shopping & nightlife. We are a full-service resort hotel & conference center with an excellent restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner & room service. Our on-site activities desk, The Montana Adventure Company, can coordinate off-site recreation for our groups and individual guests.
